BACKGROUND ALDO enlisted the help of world known fashion photographer Terry Richardson to show off their SS11 collection in a printed catalogue, but a fun and playful brand like ALDO needed something more. So we were asked to translate the printed catalogue into a digital campaign that would attract their young target audience.

STRATEGY We wanted to create a motion catalogue that was not only interactive but so fun that users would be exposed of the products over and over again. ALDO Shoes For Life is an immersive, engaging digital game that let players experience the entire ALDO S/S11 collection while having fun and competing for big prizes. Featuring actor Matthew Gray Gubler and top model Lily Donaldson, the digital experience was comprised of a couple of casino-themed games, that allowed us to show off the ALDO collection of shoes and inspired users to choose their lucky shoe.

RESULT ALDO Shoes For Life was awarded FWA Site of the Day and was celebrated on several big fashion- and tech blogs for its creative way of showing off a shoe collection and engaging its customers. Over 300 000 people signed up to compete for shoes for life, and ALDO saw a big increase in online purchases as a result of the campaign. It received so much positive feedback from it's customers that ALDO had us develop a similar interactive catalogue the following year called ALDO Shoe Paradise.
