LET'S MAKE A FASHION CATALOGUE IN MOTION. AND INTERACTIVE. AND COMPETITIVE. AND JUST PURE FUN.
BACKGROUND Aldo enlisted the help of world known fashion photographer Terry Richardson to show off their SS12 collection in a printed catalogue, but for a fun and playful brand like Aldo they needed something more. So we were asked to translate the printed catalogue into the digital world.
STRATEGY Aldo Shoe Paradise is an immersive, engaging digital game that let players experience the entire ALDO S/S collection while having fun and competing for big prizes. The player has to navigate his/her sartorial avatar through the Shoe Paradise, a gamified interactive catalog, moving up or down in hopes of grabbing, and trying on, the next pair of shoes. If successful in collecting all the shoes within the time allotted, the player won a 15% off coupon redeemable at ALDO stores. In addition, each player can enter to win a 3 minute ‘all you can grab’ shopping spree, a shoe lover’s dream come true!
RESULT Aldo Shoe Paradise was celebrated on several big fashion blogs for its creative way of showing off a shoe collection and engaging its customers. Aldo saw a big increase in online purchases as a result of the campaign, and received so much positive feedback from it's customers, that they had us develop a similar interactive catalogue the following year - featuring top model Lily
